At 2pm, please meet in our regular classroom. No Aspen Challenge field trip, as planned, during class time. We're back at CPCW.
That's because by 2:30, the student teams will be meeting in their own groups for meditation and team-specific work off-site.
If, however, any of you can make it downtown to Ballroom at the Ben, 834 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia 19107, for what I'm told is the most exciting, inspiring part (also the part that is public and reportable), from 8am through lunch, well, you are registered. I will be there to watch and report. I'll be happy if any of you wants to join me. Your writing about this will count toward your portfolio requirement.
I will send you an email about this. Do let me know by email whether you are able to come.
3. We will hold our own ABCS challenge. Acting as an ad hoc consulting group for SafeKidsStories.com, I will ask you to work with ideas I will present to help design the Community Service portion of your contribution to your portfolio.
4. Do have your character work started. We will discuss briefly the fictional characters who are beginning to emerge from your imagination. Or wherever they are coming from.
